​ROCK CLIMBING

Basic/beginner rock climbing

With no prior experience required, you can learn the basics of outdoor rock climbing including face and crack climbing, communication, belaying, knots, rappelling and more. This is an ideal activity for families, kids and friends.

course information

​Place: Unaweep Canyon, Colorado National Monument, Moab area and Fisher Towers.
Ratio: maximum of 5:1 for top-roping/3:1 for multi-pitch. 
Price: $300.00 for one person and $150.00 for each additional climber. Special rates for groups and 20% discount for veterans, active duty personal and law enforcement. 
What we provide: IFMGA/AMGA certified mountain guide, climbing equipment, ropes, harnesses, climbing shoes, helmets, first aid, guiding permits.
What we don’t provide: water, snacks, personal transportation, and personal medical insurance
Season: All year round.
Prerequisites: No prior climbing experience.

Advanced/LEad Rock Climbing

With some climbing experience necessary prior to this class, we can teach you the art of leading single pitches. Some of the topics of this class are: the proper use of the rope, placing protection, clipping the rope safe, how to take a leader fall, the use of single and double rope and more.

Multi-Pitch Rock Climbing

​With some rock climbing experience necessary, let us introduce you to multi-pitch rock climbing. A day of multi-pitch climbing will get you more familiar with complicated belay transitions, rope management, building anchors, belaying the leader, belaying the second and the third and more.

Crack Climbing

We know that crack climbing is beautiful and athletic, but we also know that is not easy. Learn the basics from hand to finger cracks and how to master off-widths.
