Who we are

José Iglesias is a fully certified IFMGA and AMGA Mountain Guide. José was part of only a handful of IFMGA mountain guides in the US when he moved from Europe in the early 1990s. José has been climbing and guiding professionally since 1983 in 5 continents. He has numerous climbs in the Himalayas, Africa, Andes, all over Europe and North America. First starting in Europe as a UIAA instructor and then becoming a fully certified IFMGA mountain Guide, José now makes his home in Grand Junction, Colorado and would like to share his knowledge and experience through teaching and guiding rock and ice climbing, alpine climbing, ski mountaineering, canyoneering and alpine rescue with you! José enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience that he has acquired by working side-by-side with guides from Europe and the US, always under the protocols and standards established by IFMGA/UIAGM.
